Community Champion’s progress meetings

Through the Local Community Ward Forums, Tower Hamlets Mayor’s Community Champion Coordinators, residents and local service providers/suppliers have been working together in each ward throughout the borough to deliver projects that will help improve their areas and address local priorities.

We are inviting you to attend Meeting Three of the Local Community Ward Forums to hear how the projects were started up, find out how they’re coming along and help to review the projects. This is also a chance for you to meet your Community Champions and get involved in some of the projects!

North meeting

There will be two meetings held in the borough, one for the North and one for the South of the borough.

The North meeting will cover all of the projects which came out of the following Ward Forums:

  • Bethnal Green North
  • Bethnal Green South
  • Bow East
  • Bow West
  • Weavers
  • Spitalfields & Banglatown
  • Mile End & Globe Town
  • Bromley by Bow
  • Mile End East

This meeting will be held at the Ecology Pavilion, Haverfield Road off Grove Road, London E3 5TW on Tuesday 7th October, 6:30pm-8:30pm.

South meeting

The South meeting will cover all of the projects which came out of the following Ward Forums:

  • Whitechapel
  • St Dunstan’s & Stepney Green
  • East India & Lansbury
  • Limehouse
  • Shadwell
  • St Katherine’s & Wapping (That’s us!)
  • Blackwall & Cubitt Town
  • Millwall

This meeting will be held at Glamis Hall, 414 Cable Street (corner of Cable Street and Glamis Road), London E1 0AF on Thursday 9th October, 6:30pm-8:30pm
