If you are one of the many homeworkers in Wapping there is a new community work place just for people like you.

Situated on the top floor of the Wapping Children’s Centre in Chandler’s Street just behind Wapping Green the ‘Wapping Workspace’ is one of the Community Champions projects.

“We offer all local residents of St. Katharine’s and Wapping Ward a quiet and peaceful place to work and think away from distractions,” says Christine Trumper. “We usually are open for about 20 hours per week and offer free unlimited Internet access.  Laptops can be reserved and wireless printing is available.”

Tea and coffee are available (there is a little kitchen just off the space) but you will probably have to bring your own biscuits.

Cost is £2 per hour. Get in touch to find out more.
